Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1987, Gustavo graduated in Industrial Design from PUC-Rio. Since his graduation, he has attracted increasing media attention as a rising Brazilian creative talent. His interest in the arts began in childhood—through drawing, painting, and construction toys—which naturally evolved into his profession. Today, Martini lives in Milan after completing a master’s degree at Istituto Marangoni and also collaborates with Italian companies.

During the first year of his own studio, he was invited to exhibit at the Brazilian Art Fair during Miami Art Basel and, later that same year, at the design store of the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), in collaboration with three other a

rtists. With a portfolio that includes exhibitions across Brazil, the United States, and Europe, his greatest passion is to create with complete freedom of expression, free from constraints. Martini spends days exploring concepts and forms, developing what he defines as an “unpretentious experimental language” for his projects.
