LATTOOG

In 2005, in Rio de Janeiro, Lattoog was founded. The company’s name—a fusion of the partners’ surnames, Lattavo and Moog—captures the essence of the duo’s creative process: the convergence of two minds, two different backgrounds, united by a constant pursuit of originality in furniture, industrial design, and architecture.

Leonardo Lattavo is an architect and urban planner, with a Master’s degree in Architecture from University College London, England. Pedro Moog is a self-taught designer with an academic background in Business Administration from Bennett University in Rio de Janeiro.

Lattoog’s products achieve a balance between the rationalism of advanced technologies and the intuition, poetry, and subjectivity of art objects. The result is a collection of functional pieces with harmonious lines—at times organic and sinuous, at others geometric and striking. By incorporating elements deeply rooted in Brazilian culture—such as wooden floor tiles, patterned ceramics, suburban metalwork, and the graphic motifs of Portuguese stone pavements—Lattoog forges a path toward the internationalization of Brazilian design while preserving its distinctive Rio spirit.
