PEDRO BRAGA

With approachable and expressive products, Pedro Braga Design makes thoughtful use of emotional design to create authorial pieces with strong personality. Its production is semi-industrial, allowing for flexibility in meeting market demands while reducing environmental waste.
A graduate of PUC-Rio, Pedro Braga set out to bring his ideas to life and translate them into products for the design market, developing a practice guided by authorial production and the intelligent use of automated processes. His creations are characterized by a playful, relaxed, and emotional design language—such as the Pazzo Spaghetti Measure, which received the Salão Design Casa Brasil 2011 award, among others. The designer is part of a new generation of young professionals associated with the so-called “Parallel Industry,” who believe in and invest in strong ideas, seek the technical knowledge required to realize them, and pursue the right industrial partnerships to bring them to life.
